Teeth Grinding (Bruxism)

Teeth Grinding (Bruxism)

Teeth grinding — or bruxism — is a common problem in which the person unconsciously clenches or grinds their teeth, most often during sleep. Contributing factors may include stress, anxiety, bite irregularities, or excessive muscle tension. Over time, the issue can lead to tooth wear, jaw pain, headaches, and excessive build-up of the lower face muscles.

Treating bruxism requires a targeted approach aimed at reducing the over-activity of the jaw muscles, easing painful symptoms, and improving quality of life. The appropriate therapy is always selected after an individual assessment.
