Before & After Results
Useful information
A detailed assessment is carried out before the treatment, during which we examine the firmness of the skin and the areas to be treated, and discuss the achievable results and how the procedure will be performed.
The Ignite RF procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. Radiofrequency energy is delivered precisely into the deeper layers of the skin, where it triggers immediate tissue contraction and collagen stimulation.
Mild redness and swelling may occur after the treatment, both of which subside quickly while the firming effect on the skin gradually becomes visible.
Long-lasting result: the immediate tightening effect is followed by collagen remodelling, and the final natural-looking result develops over 3–6 months.
- An assessment of the skin and overall health is required before the treatment.
- Medications must be reviewed; certain products may need to be temporarily discontinued.
- Skin assessment: in case of active skin inflammation, infection or injury the treatment should be postponed.
- Smoking and alcohol should be avoided in the period before and after the treatment.
Mild redness and swelling may occur after the treatment.
Significant downtime is generally not required.
Follow-up appointments support the optimal development of the result.
Ignite RF is a minimally invasive, safe procedure performed by a qualified practitioner. As with any aesthetic treatment, temporary redness, swelling or sensitivity may occur, but these resolve within a short time.
