Useful information
Before the treatment we assess the anatomy of the eye area. A low water-binding hyaluronic acid developed specifically for the under-eye region is administered using a refined technique. The result is visible immediately, with the final outcome becoming apparent as initial swelling subsides.
- Avoid wearing make-up for 24 hours after the treatment
- Avoid strenuous exercise, sauna and steam room for a short period
- Avoid strong sun exposure and sunbeds
- Treating the eye area gently helps the optimal result to develop
Tear trough filler is a safe injectable procedure, but one that requires considerable expertise. Temporary redness, sensitivity, mild swelling or, more rarely, bruising may occur, all of which resolve within a few days.
When is tear trough filler suitable?
It is suitable for volume loss, fine hollows and shadowing. It is not recommended on its own for puffy under-eye bags caused by oedema.
How long do the results last?
Results generally last 9–15 months depending on individual factors.
Is tear trough filler safe?
In the hands of a qualified specialist it is a safe, well-tolerated procedure.
